One of my professors was head of the Maricopa County Health Department during our West Nile outbreak. He’s been very keen to remind everyone at the start of every lecture to visit health services if they’ve visited China in the last few months. I think I might watch Contagion.

I’m taking an algal biosciences class right now and it’s pretty mind blowing how better adapted certain microorganism are to this world than we are, nevermind things that aren’t technically “alive” like viruses.

I don’t think so but maybe somewhere in the book. It’s been a long time since I actually read them. They don’t seem to be the space suits.

Whenever I see Dustin Hoffman's face, I can only think of "Hook," or "Death of a Salesman." I felt he was truly awful in the latter.

I like it well enough in a vacuum it just doesn't really fit the tone of the rest of the movie to me.
